Drone Photography Ideas

It’s a bird, it’s a plane… Nope, it’s a Drone
Many Drones, Quadcopters in particular come with built-in cameras. Thanks to improved camera technology you don’t need to be an expert to take some great pictures. A great resource for drone photography beginners is YouTube. Have a look at a few videos that other people have made to get an idea of what you like and what you don’t like. There are also some great tutorials to give you hints and tips to get good shots.

Take the time to practice and film or photograph everything you can so you can get comfortable and work out what works for you. Take shots of your dog at the park, ducks on the lake, trees, boulders, statues anything you can so you can really get the hang of it.

Once you feel confident have a think about what types of photography interest you and what you aim to get out of it. Is it purely for your own pleasure or do you want to sell your images? Are you making tutorials for YouTube or an online podcast, if so who is your audience and what will they want to see.
